e-Debit is readily available in your existing ATM card, which is known as the Bankcard, issued by all local banks. The card contains multiple functions such as ATM, MEPS CASH and e-Debit *.
Payment via e-Debit will enable the purchase amount to be immediately deducted from your savings or current account direct into the retailer's or merchant's bank account. This provides consumers with better cash management and peace of mind as all transactions are PIN based. In addition, the new card is embedded with a sophisticated, tamper-resistant smart chip to protect consumers against the risk of fraud.
Look out for the Bankcard logo at participating retailers / merchants and be part of this new payment, shopping and entertainment evolution.
