MEPS EMPLOYEES LET THEIR HAIR DOWN IN LANGKAWI

Kuala Lumpur, September 27 2006 – Over 130 staff Malaysian Electronic Payment System (1997) Sdn Bhd (MEPS) and its subsidiary MEPS Currency Management (MCM) congregated in Langkawi for the MEPS Group Staff Trip recently.
MEPS Managing Director, YBhg Dato' Mohd Hata Robani, said that the trip was aimed at building rapport and establishing a strong sense of team spirit. "Since our employees are located all over Malaysia, it is a good way to get everybody in one place and have a short break from work together. This is also an opportunity for staff to get to know each other and mingle in a more relaxed environment."
The trip was filled with fun activities such as telematches, beach games and a city tour. The highlight of the trip was the Beach Party where many donned bermuda shorts and Hawaiian shirts or bright coloured outfits with flowers in the hair. The staff also got to show their hidden talents with karaoke and dance performances. No holiday is complete without shopping so before leaving for the airport, MEPS staff went on a buying spree of dinnerware, chocolates and souvenir items for their loved ones in Kuah.
